AnnMultiple Chemical Sensitivity is an important introductory booklet. Highly informative, it provides a succinct overview that is easy for a layperson to read and understand. The publication answers questions that include: What is MCS? Who gets MCS? What causes MCS? What are the symptoms of MCS? How is MCS diagnosed and treated? What is the political history of MCS?This booklet can be an invaluable resource for those who have recently become chemically sensitive. It has also proven useful in helping to educate friends, family members, doctors, government agencies, elected officials, and others about MCS. Dr. Ann also includes a section on the political history of MCS, as well references and resources. $5 each. Volume discounts available. To order, click here.

Dr. Ann McCampbell trained in internal medicine and worked in women’s health before she became ill with severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) in 1989. She has been a leading chemical sensitivity and disability advocate for over 20 years. She is Chair of the Multiple Chemical Sensitivities Task of New Mexico and a founding board member of the Chemical Sensitivity Foundation. For more information, click here.

susanA NOTE FROM SUSAN ABOD

As you may suspect, producing a video requires a great deal of work, persistence, and of course, money. In order to complete Homesick, I am seeking individual contributions and company sponsorships that will enable me to complete the video, publicize and share with a national audience what I continue to discover about living with MCS.  Your contribution is tax-deductible.

When completed, I will submit the video to "POV" a national public television program that screens documentaries as well as to the Discover Health Channel and then many local public and community access stations. PBS has aired only one show related to this topic to date. I also plan to have the first video screening at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where Funny You Don't Look Sick premiered. I will arrange media interviews around each of these screenings. I will submit the video to many documentary film festivals.  Because of my existing successful relationship with the Cinema Guild Film distribution company for the past 10 years, I feel confident about contracting with them or another national distributor enabling to get the video out to university and college libraries, public libraries, disability organizations and health advocacy organizations across the country such as the American Lung Association and National Asthma and Allergy Foundations. The video will also be available throughout the medical and chemically sensitive-related communities and organizations and through the Homesick web site.

Please take a few minutes to view the Homesick preview, and let me know what you think.
