SUSAN ABOD – Project Director, Producer, Writer, Narrator, Co-Editor.
Before she became ill Susan was a professional singer, songwriter, recording artist, teacher and performer. Susan has been documenting CFIDS and MCS for close to a decade. Her first film, Funny, You Don’t Look Sick: An Autobiography of an Illness (1995, Cinema Guild) painted an intimate portrait of her struggle to live with these debilitating conditions. Funny You Don't Look Sick premiered at the Museum of Fine Arts in 1995, and was a Merit Award winner at the 2005 SUPERFEST International Disability Film Festival. It has been screened internationally and can be found in doctor’s and lawyer’s offices, university and public libraries, medical classrooms, centers for independent living, support groups and in peoples’ homes all over the world. It is now being distributed by the Cinema Guild of New York.

Susan is also a singer and composer. In 2001 she produced a 16-song CD, In The Moment. To listen to sample selections click here and scroll to the bottom of the page. Susan also composed & performed in a musical for the Living with Aids Theater Project in Boston 1989.

LAUREL CHITEN- Production Consultant. Producer/director, Laurel Chiten brings impressive credentials and experience to Homesick. She has received funding from Independent Television Service ( ITVS) for two of her projects, The Jew in the Lotus and her most recent film, Twisted. The Jew in the Lotus aired on Independent Lens 1999 and Twisted will air on IL next season. Twitch and Shout aired on PBS national series, POV and Touched aired on the Space Channel in Canada, All these these films were screened at festivals and movie theaters internationally .

ANN MCCAMPBELL, MD - MCS Consultant. For the past 15 years, Ann has applied her medical background, research capabilities, communications skills, and personal experience living with MCS to advocate for chemically sensitive people on the national, state and local level. She is currently the Chair of the MCS Task Force of New Mexico, a Board of Director of the Chemical Sensitivity Foundation, a member of the New Mexico Environment and Health Coalition, coordinator of the Coalition for Mercury-Free New Mexico Workgroup, a member of the New Mexico Precautionary Principle Task Force and a member of the New Mexico Environmental Health Coordinating Council.

LAUREL GREENBERG – Camera, Lights, Sound, Co-Director. Laurel has 13 years of experience as a videographer and audio engineer for broadcast television (Fox-TV, NY), corporate television (Nynex, John Hancock, Digital) and produced the documentaries Ninety-Four Years and One Nursing Home Later, Nantucket: Portrait of an Island and Something Missing, an award winning music video. RICHARD FOMO – Editor. Richard Fomo’s creative and professional interests have spanned from painting and photography, earning an MFA in painting from Rhode Island School of Design, to film and video production that has increasingly centered on editing the work of independent and non-profit media makers. Some of Richard’s editorial credits are: the trailer for the feature film, The Strangler’s Wife (Cityscape/New Concorde); two TV shows for The Visionaries; the feature film, Mere Formality (Shadow Pictures); the short film, Just Lather, That’s All (Uh Oh Productions); and a preview of the documentary in progress, Homesick. BRADLEY KIMBROUGH – Editor. Brad graduated from Boston University Film School and currently edits at Scout Productions, Boston, MA.

PAMELA BERGER – Production and Technical Consultant. Pamela is a Professor of Film and Art History at Boston College and a professional filmmaker. She is the screenwriter and producer of three feature films: Sorceress, The Imported Bridegroom and Kilian's Chronicle AKA The Magic Stone. She directed two of these features. She is an original board member of the Boston Women's Health Book Collective and contributed the information about MCS in the last edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves.

LEE STEWART - Web Consultant. Lee is a principal at StripedCow Technology Group, a firm specializing in high-end software and web development. While at StripedCow, he's worked on various projects from multimedia work to Xbox game console programming.
